This was my first shoot with a real macro lens. It was inspired and composed for the “from every angle” monthly project at photoblogchallenges.com. The subject in this series, Automoblox truck and hot rod , has got to be one of the coolest toys ever. I would almost have to say its right up there with Lego. My son will play with just these two vehicles for hours.The shoot itself was very interesting. I had a real challenge getting the lighting and background just right. Over the course of an evening, I ended up building my own light box out of a beer case, white paper and scotch tape and a 2000watt halogen. It worked surprisingly well.
